With His arms open wide,
In Christ Redeemer we confide
Not only soul, but heart as a guide.

"I always write my fictions based on real life, with the hope that I may reveal some facts, which will never reach the public view by other matters. This one in particular has been inspired a lot by the last incidents that occurred just beside my former home: The sniper's case.
Those two men...well, one was still a boy! They had been killing people at the streets of the suburbs in D.C. exactly where I lived! I suspected that they were killing much more for other purpose than for the money they requested. I reported an incident the day the shooting started. Eventually they got that and other more information, which lead to the capture of the murderer.
While you read it, be prepared for "deja-vus" I already warn you! For this will be more like a series of flash backs as the story moves from a place and it comes back as if having to go back to the same place until it gets out of the funneling process. It is more like a labyrinth. The idea for this book, which was also based upon a recent story of girls being murdered by what firstly appeared to be satanic rituals goes from the premise that we are all responsible for what happen around us. And that we can never give an U-turn unless we stop the insanities to occur into one another's lives that I translate as in each other's lives for all our lives are in fact connected. The victims of the atrocious acts of epitaph(i)all-consequences were both in a pregnant state, being their perpetra(i)tors their own husbands therefore justly convicted of double homicide. But amazingly enough the girls also had in common a Latin descendent, their Latino last name.
The story is about love and hate and all those conflictions and disturbing issues that all human beings have throughout their lives. It is about the daily violence that permeates us and about the influence of the media on that all, and the pros and cons of being bombarded by info. It can terrorize people but, since, ceteris paribus, violence attracts violence, at the same time it actually shows how everything seems to influence insane acts just as the ones described above. Nevertheless, if it were not for the media, I would have ever had the courage to speak out and give the tip. The book is haunted by extremely acts of passionate infatuations!! It is inflected over Passions...Passion and love. And the conflictuated relationships and all the contemporary issues, all those ingredients we have to deal with in our busy daily lives.
What that book means to me?? Well, it means a lot, since I put a lot of myself on that as it goes in all the books that I write. It means that we may dream of paradise, but we will have to work hard to earn that. It won't come for free, but that makes it, nonetheless, or exactly because of that, so worthwhile!"

The Witches of Avignon

The Past: History (Body/Matter/Word/Father/Heart/Id//Physical)
Victor Hugo's Mistress

The Present: Literature (Mind/Antimatter/Thought/Son/Ego/Nonphysical)
Voyage in the Fourth Dimension

The Future: Science (Spirit/Deed/Holy Spirit/Energy/Soul/Superego/Metaphysical)
It comes this new novel, as a synthesis. For if you insert a point into the middle of the triangle, it gains force and dimension, and a pyramid is formed. If you escalate the pyramid you will find yourself into a new perspective, you will see everything into a higher view. As Einstein already claimed, there is no such thing as linear time. All happens here and now as One, in parallel universes. The past and the future as part of us here and now."
I dedicate this book to all those young in heart who care enough about life to dare to invest in their own dreams. For my fictions tell about love & relationships and about psychological issues that permeate our daily life. They are about mystical and material stuff as well: all those matters that "matter" so much!"
"Christy had a normal life until the day she lost herself to become a victim of her own shadow.
The way to her heart while stepping into the deepest labyrinths of her mind, as a paralleled life, more than a hard task, she found it to have a much more valuable price after all."
(Excerpts from the book "Latina Love")
Based upon the constant threats and demanding changes of our contemporary society, in a world affected by distrust and distress, "Latina Love" is an after-September-Eleven-Tragedy mystery crime book with a singular narrative that will make you thrill from the spine-chilling beginning until the unexpected but globally grounded end.
A Latina Love Preview
When we loosen up we may loose ourselves in the process as well. And we don't take care of our own victims. As we are all responsible for our acts we loose the sense that the devil is lived in his reflection as in the opposite of lived. If we don't recognize our inner proposal of making the light into the darkness we will continue to live in the shadows.
This romance is about making peace to the darkness of our soul, as it is to find the way to step into the deepest labyrinths of our own hearts. Let yourself get into the essence of this thread of intrigues, and the most passionate questions from the heart of a young soul, of an American woman. American in the sense that she was born in America (in the North and South America) in the perils of her own discoveries with a heart that beats in both hemisphere for she finds out that she belongs to a new home from a brave New World.
"Will you come with me to Paradise?
There where there is no disguise
And we can all be naked.
Only if we can just take it.
Leave your mask behind, I advise.
There is so much more to entice.
For only naked eyes can see
The truth that lies underneath.
All that has a price will free-ze...
But that will makes us all-so free!"

"If only there were evil people somewhere insidiously committing evil deeds, and it were necessary only to separate them from the rest of us and destroy them. But the line dividing good and evil cuts through the heart of every human being. And who is willing to destroy a piece of his own heart?" Aleksandr Solzhenitsy

"I am at this party close to the Marriott Hotel, in the subway, near the escalator from the Metro, underground Juniper Street in Philadelphia. I just got a paper that describes the way Pennsylvania was settled.
Sylvania means "jungle" and Penn is the founder of the Quakers and he got this entire "jungle" as a payment from a debt of King Henry. Then he founded Philadelphia, which means the city (Delphos) of the brotherly Love (Philos).
It is quite interesting to know that the Quakers were protecting the natives and that they all thought that everyone, regardless of sex, ethnic origins, color or culture, all people have the right to freedom for everyone of us has this light from God burning deep inside.
But, anyways, I just feel as if I am not invited here, since I was not really invited. They look at me as if I were a stranger. I actually AM a stranger. An Afro-Brazilian girl trying to get into their circle?
I just thought that with half of my blood running through the lands of an African civilization, I thought that maybe that would allege me to enter in the "terrain" and I assume I would have enough ground on my feet. It is enough to dare being there. What about being one of them?
The only thing that Christy didn't know yet (and that she had to learn later anyway) it was that a wish always comes true. But, sometimes, it is simply not exactly as we planned that to be.
Her own life was about to change. Right!
But from upside down to an ever increasing in size snowball, a huge roller coaster transforming it into a monster that she wouldn't happen to manage, unless she saw the vision of a giant red signal. That she would only be able to stop it if she could stop right where she noticed the first signals of danger. For the solution of her problems were also available for her to reach at the tips of her fingers.
If she could only see that on time."
