Sweet and Sour Carrots

 

Ingredients:

Lb

Baby carrots

8

Tbl

Butter

1

Tbl

All-purpose flour

1

Tbl

Sugar

3

Tbl

Red wine vinegar

¾

Cup

Water

 

 

Salt and pepper to taste

Directions:

Place the butter in a skillet over medium heat. When butter begins to froth, add the flour and stir to mix well. Add the sugar, mixing well. Add the vinegar, water and carrots. Stir well and simmer for 15 minutes, or until the liquid evaporates and the carrots are tender. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
