Sassy Spareribs
Ingredients:

2 Racks Baby Back Ribs, (Approx 1-1/2 Pounds Each) 1/4 Cup Hoisin Sauce 1/4 Cup Chinese Plum Sauce Or Apricot Preserves 1/4 Cup Rice Wine Vinegar Or White Wine Vinegar 2 Tbsp Soy Sauce 2 Tsp Minced Garlic |
Directions:
Adjust
oven rack to 6 inches from broiler. Preheat broiler to high. Line shallow
baking pan with aluminum foil. Cut racks into individual ribs and arrange ribs
and arrange meaty side down, close together but not touching.
In small bowl, combine remaining ingredients,
stir well. Spoon 1/3 sauce over ribs.
Broil 10 minutes. Turn ribs meaty side up and
spoon on additional 1/3 of sauce.
Broil ribs 6 minutes, then spoon on remaining
1/3 sauce. Broil an additional 4 minutes or until ribs are crispy and done.
*Note: Ribs can be parboiled for about 10
minutes with a bay leaf before lying in baking dish.
