Orange Pork Chops Ingredients:
Directions: Trim excess fat from pork chops. Combine
flour, seasoned salt, paprika, and pepper. Reserve 1 tablespoon of this
mixture, and roll pork chops in remaining mixture. In a large skillet over high heat, brown
chops in oil, reduce heat, add orange juice, cloves, and orange peel. Cover,
Simmer 45 minutes or until tender, turning chops occasionally, During last 5
minutes of cooking time, add orange slices. Remove chops and orange slices to a platter.
Skim off excess fat. Strain remaining liquids, discard cloves and peel. Return
1 cup of liquid to skillet adding water if necessary to make a full cup.
Combine reserved flour mixture and 2 tablespoons of cold water. Pour slowly
into liquid in skillet. Cook stirring constantly until slightly thickened.
Spoon over shops.
