Bourbon Glazed Ham

Directions:
Wrap ham in aluminum foil,
and place in a lightly greased 9x13” pan. Bake in a 325ºF oven for 2 hours.
Remove pan from oven and increase heat to 450ºF. Unwrap ham; discard foil. Remove
skin and excess fat from ham. Make ¼” deep cuts in a diamond design, and insert
cloves in a diamond design. Brush ham evenly with ½ cup bourbon. Stir together remaining
¼ cup bourbon, sugar and mustard in a small bowl. Pat sugar mixture evenly over
ham; arrange the orange slices over the sugar, and secure with toothpicks. Lightly
baste with drippings; bake for 15-20 minutes or until a meat thermometer inserted
into thickest part of ham registers 140º and sugar has melted and formed a glaze.
Let stand for 15 mintes before slicing.
