Cheese Stuffed Toast

Cream Cheese, Cubed Into 10 Pieces

Milk

Butter, Melted

Dash Nutmeg

Directions:

Cut a pocket in each slice of bread. Fill the pockets with 1 tablespoon preserves and 1 cube of cream cheese. Press together lightly. Place in a greased 9x13” baking dish.

In a medium bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, butter, maple syrup and nutmeg. Pour over the bread slices and refrigerate overnight.

Bake in a 350ºF for 40 minutes or until golden brown.

Serve with maple syrup
