Welcome to The Gay Sims Online!!
Today marks the official launch of The Gay Sims Online, a site for all you gay gamers anticipating the release of the upcoming MMORPG The Sims Online! It was not long ago that Maxis, the company that developed the now infamous PC game, The Sims, and it's five subsequent expansion packs, broke the mold by incorporating Sims that could be gay, lesbian or Bi-Sexual. Yes, in high contrast to the real world we live in, your Sims can live together, get married, have babies, all while remaining untouched by the social bounds inflicted upon us by an uneducated society. The Sims Online, due out this fall, allows hundreds of thousand of individuals to play from all over the world, together for the first time, online! Already, fan sites are popping up like crazy as admirers of the game wait anxiously for the the biggest and best online gaming experience so far! This site is devoted to those who regard how far we've come as a community, and don't want to spend your 'virtual life' in the closet either! Many of us probably already have same sex Sim couples in our current games, but The Sims Online will add a whole new dimension to the phenomenon.
Soon we will launch our forums which will give you, the gay and Lesbian gamer, a chance to look for a roomate (Or, just a mate) find a business partner, make new friends, and establish a community within the game that, following the Maxis tradition, embraces us all, despite orientation!

In the coming months this website will expand to include many things, including screenshots of your Sim in action, organized events, contests, and more pages that will focus on other Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Games like EVERQUEST, and DARK AGE OF CAMELOT. Hopefully other developers will follow in the innovative footsteps of The Sims Online Developers and acknowledge their LBGT player base!
