A ripple of sensation cracks though my body
Aching to feel the cold blade against my skin
the metal glistened in the moonlight
searching for the right contact
then presure eludes the moment
a surge of pain pierces my angry thoughts
contentment surrenders
longing controlling
harder
longer
break the seal
a red crimson liquid trickles off the edge of my elbow
as the stained, rusty scissors drop to the concrete floor
