| I created this website to help other self-injurers, and to inform people of the facts- not myths- of self-harm. I did not create this site for myself, other than the fact that I enjoy helping people. I am trying to stop people from hurting themselves, and to stop non-SIs from hurting self-injurers (emotionally, and physically) because they don't understand. Some paramedics, doctors, nurses, etc., are disgusted and revolted when a self-injurer comes in to their hostpital with self-inflicted wounds. They can't comprehend how someone could ever do that to themselves, and some people may treat the self-injurer badly because of that. As unlikely as it is that a doctor or nurse, etc. will see this website and that will stop them from reacting badly, it's still possible.
