Do you have any idea how many people have been sexually abused or assulted in the past year? you can't even begin to fathom the number of children who are sexually abused and don't come forward to say anything or get help. did you know what the sexual abuse of children can lead to MANY self-distructive activities...drug/alcohol abuse, self-injury, even suicide?
April is the month that is designated to try and do something about these statistics. 1 child in every 3 has been sexually abused in one way or another. can we just sit back and watch this happen? why not do something about it? become involved in some way to help treat those who have been sexually abused or assulted.
