Gene Simmons,born Chaim Witz(pronounced"Vitz")August 25,1949 in Hafia, Israel,Americanized his name when he moved to New York at the age of nine to Gene Klein.Gene is a college graduate,and at was at one time was a school teacher in Spanish Harlem.Gene's fire-breathing,blood drooling,tongue wagging antics have enthralled fans for decades.Gene is the most recognized member of KISS,and also my favorite member.Gene is a man of many endevors,including acting,managing,and for a while,the head of his own record label.Most of these things have been put on hold so he can concentrate on KISS.Gene is a one of a kind rock persona as he has never used alcohol or drugs.Definitely the most animated of KISS,Gene has inspired countless young boys to pick up an instrument and make they're dreams come true.
