*DNF at Lime Rock was the result of a spin in the diving turn on Lap 4. The subsequent slide through the infield grass caused something in the braking system to let go, resulting in a loss of brake function.
**DNS at NHIS, Pig Roast race 1, due to broken panhard bar mount suffered in qualifying. Qualified for the race at 1:23. Thanks to Bob Smart, Smarty's Auto, for welding up the mount at the track Saturday night so I could race Sunday.
Season Summary
Qualified for five races, finished, three. Not a stellar season for 1999, but there were some good points:
- sorted out many things in the car
- improved lap times at both NHIS and Lime Rock
Improvements for next season:
Shock and torsion bar upgrades, different wheel/tire combination
