| A little about my GS-T | ||||
| I bought my GS-T on September 08, 1998. She had 11,200 miles on the odometer. Ironically, after 5 months of searching up and down the East coast for a GS-T that matched what I wanted, I found her at the local Mitsubishi dealership right up the street from my house! I've wanted an Eclipse ever since I saw a commercial for the re-designed Second Generation line-up. I absolutely fell in love with it again when Mitsubishi changed the looks for the 1997 model year. Shortly after buying her, I began the process of modifying her to meet my needs. I have followed a largely budget approach so far, due to financial constraints, but I have seen phenomenal gains. She has run a best 1/4 mile E.T. to date of 13.01@112 with a 2.1 60' on 16" street tires and typcal bolt-ons that one would find on your average DSM. **Update** Years of beatings have finally caught up with me and my car. She is currently down for a spun #4 rod bearing. I can't complain too badly though since she's endured 137,000+ miles of above average abuse. I'm currently gearing up to deploy to Iraq, but will be repairing the car upon my return. |
