A: *sigh* This is another one of those questions that really gets to me. It demonstrates a complete lack of understanding about evolution. I would like to tell the asker to just go and read a book about it (assuming that they are literate) and then get back to me. But that's not what this site's for so I must grit my teeth and give it a go. First let me establish that we did not, in fact, evolve from monkeys at all. We share a COMMON ANCESTOR with the ape family. To use an analogy; they're our brothers not our parents.
