MAD 12 UGAV
Home
By 2015 1/3rd of the U.S. forces were slated to be unmanned. Originaly this ment that vehicles were semi-autonomouse, requiring human controle of weapons or human permission to fire. This Unmanned Ground Assault Vehicle is one of those. Designated the Medium Assault Drone 12, it is a small tracked vehicle armed with a veriety of weapons. It can track within a few inches weapons fire and determine type, identify thousands of potential targets and more. It is slow to respond against threats when left without command control, (This was a deliberate safety messure to prevent friendly fire) but it is still an apponent not to be taken lightly. Over one thousand of these remained in U.S. and other services the day of the coming. Though not as effective as the MAD 15, it was still more than a match for most forces around the world.

The MAD 15 upgrade came several years after the MAD 12 proved to be highly effective and deadly to the enemies of the United States. Upgraded and improved, but heavy armor made this UGAV able to stand up and fight. It appears nearly identical to the MAD 12 with few cosmetic defferences. Infact, many of its parts are interchangable. This other upgrade, other than the armor was the AI. It is intended to fight without direct human command for extended periods of time. It's program is similar to the CDS.
