STUDY GUIDE FOR UNIT 1
1.  Cultivate energy, by
       a.  avoiding poisonous foods, fat, sugar, junk foods
       b. exercise, tai chi, yoga
       c. breathing exercises, pranayana
       d. singing, chanting
       e. practice wellness

2.   Meditate 15-20 minutes daily

3.  Chant 15-20 minutes before bedtime:
    
May all beings with whom we are inseparably interconnected be fulfilled, awakened and free

     May there be peace in the world and throughout the entire universe

     And may we all together complete the spiritual journey

4.  Practice patience with yourself and others.
