Belle Bête: French translation ~ lovely animal, beautiful beast.

Welcome! When we moved to the country, the "old-timers" told us that the Bois D'ark tree in our front yard had nestled on the creek bank for over a hundred years! Time has changed the flow of the creek, but the tree still stands as a landmark. The swing was hung to welcome friends and family to "our place". We invite folks to sit down, relax, and enjoy the peace. It serves as the gathering place for "dog talk" and story-telling! It has become "tradition" to take pictures of visitors in the swing; eventually, you may just see yourself here...
