This is home at 2.5 weeks. It's a large cardboard box with a sleeping bag for
a roof, and old blankets for a floor. (Aren't they all soooo cute!)
These are pictures of
Francois at 3 months. Again, she's pointing a rag with scent on it. If
you're wondering where you can buy pheasant scent, it's found at any local
gun shop, or sporting store.
Cujo was and is still the runt of the litter. She is also known as the
wench because she is incorrigible. This is the puppy Roy wants to keep.
She thinks she's the dominant dog. Actually, the Postman, who now out weighs
her by 10lbs., is the dominant dog. However, he's such a gentleman that he
lets this little imp get away with lots of shenanigans before he puts a
stop to whatever she's up to. Cujo is the fastest of the bunch. She's going
to be a little bullet in the field.
Below Cujo pointing one of our pet cats at 3 weeks.
Cujo is so stanch on point, she may just be a handlers dream come true.
Notice her left
front foot tucked up in a classic point. Not bad for a beginner.
MAGIC just 3 weeks after
giving birth.
Already walking and mobilating at 2 and a half weeks.
The hunting trip last October, about 1 month before the pups were born. Magic got tired
early, and it was raining mighty hard, so they all settled for
one bird each. Good enough for dinner.
