Just a random selection of Warhammer 40,000 pictures.
As long as you're here, why not tell me what you think of my painting?
Yes, the masters of 40K. The mailing list! Seen here for the first time in all their glory.

Complete with key. If your name is missing, or you'd like something between first and last names, let me know.
The snotlings did what?

I'm the one with the irritated expression. Bub is the other guy in black, and Graham has his back turned to you.
I like the expression on my face, but it doesn't come across well. Such is life.
This is dead cool. The whole table is, um, large. It's also made completely of monster bases.

Yes, they brought a thunderhawk gunship to the Games Day. See it here.(51k)
Epic Tyranids overrun the Imperial position. Sucks to be Imperial right about now.

Fine resin cast terrain.
Note: Dark Reapers not included (Thank God).
Remarkable what a half inch brush can do. Whole paint job, one hour elapsed. Well, I was painting a terminator captain, and double power fist figure, but I split evenly. Three hours, three figures.

These pictures are taken with a Macro lens at about a foot, with very bright lights (klieg lights maybe?), on Kodak super gold 100 film.
Bob, the Lord of Change, the bunker and the after dread picture were shot on Fuji ISO100 film.
The light is a bit too bright, and the colors tend to get washed out a bit. Especially the lighter colors.
Of course, these are then scanned in at some obscenely high DPI resolution at 24 bit color. So what do I do? Dither them to GIFs. Hey, I only have 256 colors on my monitor. It's not like I notice a difference.
I see what Jervis said when he talked about the White Dwarf editors making sure figures were perfect before putting the pictures in the magazine. You get to see every missed brush stroke here. Look at the Librarian's backpack pole and the Dreadnought (to the left of the sarcophagus) if you don't understand what I mean.
I'd just like the say that flocking bases makes them look ten thousand times better. Once Edwin gets his figures scanned in, you'll see what I mean.
Fred is a Bloodthirster. Don't ask.
Just some of the fine Geo-Hex Terrtain Edwin and I use.
Haven't thought of a name for him yet.
And the other side.
Before and after pictures here
Ready to purge heretics, anywhere, any time.
My own conversion. Assault cannon is from a terminator, Heavy Bolter was bought as a bit and mounted on some tabs from other minitures.
