His armour is outfitted with a power fist, and he carries the chain sword he was gifted when he joined the 7th assault squad into battle.
He also carries combat drugs into battle, and wears a conversion field that has passed down from captain to captain of the fourth company. It is said to have originated from the tech-priests of Mars themselves, and was gifted to one of the captains of the fourth company after his predecessor died fighting a mob of Orks.
Mark is the current standard bearer. He is a hero and bears the standard and a jump pack, that he might fight at the front of the Corinthian Squad.
That he is the most experienced trooper in the fourth company goes without saying. It also goes without saying that he has covered himself in glory. He personally is responsible for the events that led to the fourth company being selected for the honor of bearing the standard ten years ago. The details of his actions are too lengthy to list here. He will put the standard down only if it passes from the company, or if Brother-Captain Iscariot falls, for he is the Captain's successor.
He is the head librarian of the fourth company, despite his relative youth. Being at the front of the battle against the mysterious Eldar psykers has sharpened his already prodigious skills, and Methesulah, the previous chief librarian of the fourth company, retired from his position once it was obvious that Simon was capable of calling the fell powers of the Marine Librarians while resisting the wiles of the demons of the warp.
Simon is still impetuous, despite the suit and hood of the Chief Librarian. He also carries a displacer field, which has saved his life on too many occasions, and force sword, which he too often bears into combat to chastise the enemy.
Methesulah is currently in the fortress home of the Angels of Retribution where he lends his wisdom to the inner cicrcle. His mind is still sharp, though he approaches the end of the span of his life.
Peter has barely passed into the full gifts of the Adeptus after a brief stint in a tactical company. He bears a power sword that is was granted to him once his powers were first displayed.
He is the Eldest chaplain of the fourth company, and bears the honor of leading the assault squad Corinthians into battle, standing next to the standard bearer.
He bears a jump pack and carries a power sword to supplement his bolt pistol. He does not bear a crozius, believing in slaying the enemies of the Emperor, rather than rendering them unconscious.
He bears a suit of black tactical dreadnought armour into battle. His role is to extol the glory of the Emperor when the chapter is under assault, standing at the front of the defensive lines, chanting the batle hymns and the dirges for the enemies.
Since his role is a more traditional one, he carries the crozius of the chaplain in one hand, and a storn bolter in the other.
To him falls the role of the junior chaplain. He leads the Emperor's fist into battle, from the back of his bike. He uses a bolt pistol, since the crozius is not suited to the battles he must fight.
The junior chaplain leads the Emperor's fist since this position allows the youngest chaplain to satisfy his drive for glory, while causing a minimal loss to the company if he falls, since the Emperor's Fist is often very spread out.
Mortis has distinguished himself in many a battle against the Eldar, his assault cannon mowing down squads like wheat, and his power fist sufficing to destroy any impetuous and lucky enough to close to combat with him.
A story is told of the time Mortis held a flank against an Eldar assault while his brother marines were caught in booby traps. He destroyed a Falcon troop carrier, the Dire Avengers that managed to escape the carrier before it exploded and a squad of Striking Scorpions. He then slew a Warlock before falling to Karandas. His legs were rebuilt after that battle, and he bears two slashes in Eldar blue on his assualt cannon arm commerating that battle.
Duma bears an twin lascannon and power fist. Unlike Mortis, he has not had an opportunity to distinguish himself in battle. He has suffered too often from the sting of the Dark Reaper.
Morningstar is the oldest dreadnought assigned to the fourth company. He bears a missile launcher and assault cannon into battle. He is just returned from a refit in the fortress monastary of the Angels of Retribution. It is rumoured that the refit has been delayed to allow Methesulah to decide if he wishes to continue the fight with his company, or let another battle brother do so. At this time Methesulah has chosen not to enter the Dreadnought, but remain with his battle brothers.
Bearing an assault cannon for support, the chainfisted members of Genesis Squad stand in front of the lesser armoured battle brothers. Currently, the skull of their shoulder pad bears a black bar of disgrace for cowardice in the face of the enemy. They seek to expunge that mark as soon as possible.
In the distant past, Revelation Squad found itself in a confused battle where they were fighting Orks by the side of the Space Wolves, when the Tyranids overran their position. They covered themselves in glory that day, and the current members have followed in that tradition. One of the members of Revelation bears the lightning claws that slew a powerful cyboar mounted Ork warboss.
This squad set asided their tactical dreadnought armor when the Chapter's banner passed to the fourth company ten years ago. Equipped with jump packs, they are the first to engage the enemy, leading their battle brothers by example of what a Space Marine can do in standard armour. They are the most feared troops in the company, both because of their own skill, and because two fell heroes fight at their side, one of them bearing the chapter standard, the Banner of Retribution, a device so old that to let it be disgraced is unthinkable to the members of the squad.
They have piled high the bodies of the enemy around the banner, bringing nothing but glory to that ancient device.
There are six tactical squads, composed of the junior member of the chapter.
There are two devastator squads. They have used their weapons to great effect.
Currently, the Emperor's fist consists of the following:
