An old man standing up on stage, hunched back, wrinkled, putting all his weight on his third leg, he now carries around to help him walk.  Under normal circumstances, he would have been ignored, simply thought of as just an old man on the streets.  But up on that stage, he is seen in a new light.  His old blue eyes twinkling, the fire in him reborn.  He brings life to a dead society, and hope where only fear and desperation thrived. “ Carpe Diem.  Seize the day.  Take life to it’s fullest today, live like tomorrow will never come.”  His voice rises and falls, his voice… sounding so old, but filled with so much passion and power, that one cannot help but to listen.  “If, each day, we put off what can be done today, we will never get anything done.  We, the people, must make the most of what we have.  Stop wishing for what we cannot have, stop being trivial, and blaming life’s problems on others”  His words filled us with such intense pride in what we each had.  And the day he died, our hearts melted, broke in two.  And once more, we all felt lost, like children abandoned.  But if we keep in our hearts and minds the words of this old man, we will never be lost, we will always be home, in our love
Narrative 4
I'm pretty aware that this is the first title that has narrative on it, but I didn't want to change the title, mainly because I don't have a title for this particular poem/story
