My World
In a magical land
Untouched by the hands of Time
The steady beat of the base
Thumps rapidly in my heart
The crystal ball spins
Bringing shots of silver dots
Dancing upon the floor
The night goes on
The smell of vicks fills the air
As the tiny room fills
With masked faces
Eager to dance their cares away
A flash a green, and then another
Swirling, twirling lights
Every color of the rainbow
Are thrust into the viewer's eyes
As their eardrums reach a heightened climax
Their first Ear-gasim of the night
But many more are sure to follow

As the sun rises, and the club doors open
The night drifts into a memory
And each Kandie Kid walks away
From the lights and the sounds
To be whoever they are in the Daylight
Only to dream of the comming weekend
When their souls are set free once more
