I Don't Have Much To Give
I don’t have much to give
I could never give you a diamond ring
Or a gold chain, nothing fancy like that.
I wish I could afford to give you
A watch from Rolex
Or a silver bracelet to remember me by
All I could give to you was a plastic one
Made on my bedroom floor.

I can’t buy you a car
Or clothes to wear
All I could ever offer to you
Is my love, straight from my heart
Something unconditional
Never ending
Something that can never grow old, or out of style.
Would this gift, all I can give,
Be enough for your soul
Would you need me to buy you material things?
Something I could never afford.
Or will this be enough
To keep your heart mine
Till the end of time
