STACEY'S SMILE

for my daughter

Stacey's smile can brighten a day
It makes the dark clouds fade away
On drizzly days as the rainbows unfold
Stacey's smile is my pot of gold

Stacey's smile can melt the snow
On cold wintry days I revel in her glow
Whenever the skies threaten to storm
Stacey's smile will keep me warm

Stacey's smile makes the sad times fade
As through life's murky waters I try to wade
On lonely nights when there's nothing to do
Stacey's smile will see me through

And Stacey always smiles
