Patience
patient
wondering when
I shall paint once again
As I drop my paintbrush once more
futile
patient
while the seasons
change to complete their days
the year undergoes its cycle
fruitless
patient
wondering if
all my paints have dried up
my palette sitting untouched now
impotent
patient
for my body
to slowly regain strength
exhausted from all the treatments
feeble
patient
determined that
multiple sclerosis
shall not rob me of all my dreams
hopeful
