Multiple Sclerosis

Multiple Sclerosis has drained me
Of all the energy I once had
But it cannot change my view point
On whether life is good or bad

Each day I have a choice
Of how I choose to live
I can smile, laugh, try my best
Ignoring the pain with all I can give

Or I can be bitter and angry
With the card life has dealt me
Envious of the vitality of others
Feeling betrayed by my own body
