I remember a day so very long ago When I awakened in the early
morn You and the children were still in the land of nod And I crept out of
the room as silent as a hush
I wandered slowly down to the beach And
perched myself precariously upon a rock Listening to the gulls cry and
breathing the ocean air I prayed it would always be such
Then I
squished the sand between my toes As I made my way quickly back to our
room And while sliding back beneath the covers I once more felt the warmth
of your body and it made me blush
