the drizzle begins
as even the Heavens cry
bemoaning your death

line of roses

having forgotten
why I walked into this room
a senior moment

line of roses

I have asked too much
finally realistic
melancholy now

line of roses

filling me with joy
whenever I see your face
love blooms once again

line of roses

the sun dares to shine
Nature's egragious faux pas
as I morn your loss

line of roses

cast aside once more
having outgrown usefullness
life's lesson learned

line of roses

rainfall like feathers
from the wispy floating clouds
caressing my face

line of roses

swiftly shooting stars
streaking across the sky
Nature's fireworks

line of roses

as dazzling sunshine
floods the hemisphere with light
contentment fills us

line of roses

the patient cat waits
intently watching its prey
readying to pounce

line of roses

no longer needed
sadness is my cocoon now
hidden from the world

line of roses

grieving once again
while smiling on the outside
crying deep within

line of roses

tolerance-something
that we expect of others
but not from ourselves

line of roses

unexpectantly
as you are drifting away
loneliness begins

line of roses

anticipation
faces eagerly waiting
the baby's first smile

line of roses

breaking through the fog
as the roller coaster streets
come alive again

line of roses

sun slowly setting
as twilight begins again
dreamers dream their dreams

line of roses

vibrant hues splattered
on the canvas of the sky
bringing the days end

line of roses

another sunset
nature peacefully sleeping
as the world should be

line of roses

rain gently falling
again bathing the landscape
freshness fills the air

line of roses

snowflakes falling now
blanketing the barren earth
Winter has begun

line of roses

mountains capped with snow
forming halos on the hills
against the blue sky

line of roses
