LEMUEL HAND, related nearly, it is presumed to Abraham HAND, married Lydia 
DOUBLEDAY, and part, at least, of their children were born in Columbia county, 
New York.  The best known of these were Jared, Osborn, Nathaniel Barlow, all of 
whom were thrifty farmers of Geneva.
