NATHANIEL FOSTER was son of David FOSTER (a soldier of the Revolution) and 
Lydia WHITE.  Other ancestors were Thomas1, 2, John3, Chillingsworth4, 
Nathiel5.  He was born May, 1786, at Williamstown, Massachusetts; came from 
Vermont to Sugar Creek; died August 27, 1870.  Sarah LEACH, his wife, was born 
April 17, 1792; married in 1809; died February 14, 1867.  Of their twelve 
children, Jason, Jay and Asa came  to Sugar Creek
