Ode to Pie

One day I was just walking round the house

When I spots me a fully grown mouse.

It was eating what I realized with shock was a pie

"Another wasted pie!" I let out a cry

Another day I was walking by a barny

When I spotted me a red-haired carny

It was throwing in its face what I realized with shock was pie

"Another wasted pie!" I let out a cry

So let my story be a lesson to you all

That pie will become endangered if we keep letting it fall

So rally the army, blow all the horns for pie

To save the pie has become our mission, our life, our cry.
