![]() Eternal mirageDreams are realas long as they last Porcelain shadows Drift from the past Eternal visions Forgotten mirage A surrender canvas vulnerable visage The world quite askew Moorings insecure Manipulative metaphors sometimes endure Their hazardous vision contributing pain But seasoned sincerity Wins out again So is it my dreams wild and passionate Or portions of reality calm and appropriate Well I choose my dreams They're as real as they last And can alter reality You thought was cast Margot Hill 13Feb03 Return to Top of Page
![]() when you leftWhen you leftI felt bereft Wail and keen I slip between 'Tween death and life Survival strife My mind shattered Nothing mattered You whispered then from a book I opened it and took a look And found that just by looking up Your soul and mine could ever sup so now we take forever strolls And do not suffer for death's tolls For we have found eternal love And walk with blessing from above Margot Hill 14Feb03 Return to Top of Page
![]() Drumbeat of the massesSo many sayNever enough money Or enough time Where did my life go Because today They only want it sunny Or a billion dimes Something to show But if you can let go The expectation Let yourself free And live dreams The the world will show It's affection And reality Isn't always what it seems Margot Hill 14Feb03 Return to Top of Page
![]() UnbrokenUnbroken beliefThat I had in you Every morning when The day would start anew Unbroken trust That with our synergy Together the best We would always be Unbroken friend Even when I made you mad Still you came back For that I'm glad Unbroken love With you I cherish Deeply I know It will not perish Unbroken heart Beats in my chest Holding you ever Close to my breast Unbroken spirit Though bowed and bent After the time with grief I've spent Unbroken faith In our love divine Walking forever Your hand in mine Margot Hill 15Feb03 Return to Top of Page
Dare to loveThe wildest dareThe biggest care Is loving one Who is not there When first we met But not seen yet I knew my love I'd not forget With words we talked In minds we walked And wandered well Past twelve o'clock I touched his face Felt his embrace And breathed a sigh When at his place Now he is gone I carry on And with his strength I face the dawn For with this heart Did love first start And with his spirit Won't depart Now others crow I should let go And with my favors Find a beau But it is not To be my lot For with him I made Loves true knot So my true dare To show I care With love declare And brave the stare Margot Hill 15FEB03 Return to Top of Page
