Tears that glisten
in her eyes
Shows her heart
with tender sighs

Words that glisten
in her mind
Shows her heart
The touching kind

Glistening sweet
The morning dew
Shows her heart
Is loving you

Bearing an hourglass

Bearing an hourglass
Cool hand of fate
My time for the reaper
Seems likely to wait

I will wait gently
Watching with grace
Holding my love
In your embrace

Seeing the beauty
In morning sun
Blessing each day
As it's begun

Until the morning
You by my side
On that famed steed
Take the last ride

His eyes

I am his eyes now
Looking on the world
I am his voice
With strength unfurled

I hold his soul
Deep in my heart
Once beating together
We're never apart

I see a new world
Through his loving eyes
A new me emerges
And takes to the skies

His laughter, his loving
So many sweet things
Bring harmony, grace
And those butterfly wings

Quiet flutter

A flutter of the start of love
The breath you took away
A heart so captured by your voice
It always chose to stay

I looked at you and felt an awe
Tried so hard to express
The quiet reverence you saw
Wrapped up in happiness

The loving gift of total joy
When two hearts beat as one
Can not be torn asunder when
One's time on earth is done

So even though you are not here
Your soul in me lives on
And helps me see with loving eyes
The beauty in each dawn

Daily Miracles

Sunrise, sunset
These are daily gifts
The world spinning round
The breath on my lips

The grass on the ground
The chill in the air
Reminders of life
And the reasons I care

When pain hurt so deep
And my soul could not hide
These gift are reminders
You are by my side

So each day with miracles
Wonders expressed
And seeing their beauty
I find myself blessed

With faithfulness I walk with you
Our love wrote on my heart
And with you spirit holding me
Our souls will never part

Your footprints danced within my life
I'll never be the same
I see more joys and beauty now
I am so glad you came

I am so glad you blessed my life
With all your trust and love
And I know you are watching me
and guiding from above

I know you whisper in my ear
As I pick up my pen
And standing right behind me is
my best and dearest friend

An angel walked into my life
And wrote upon my heart
With his love and words I know
We'll never be apart
