The ache in my heart
The tears that fall
The look in my eyes
That says it all

Reaching my mind
To hold your hand
Bathed in your soul
To help me stand

Tender the face
So strong with love
Guardian now
From up above

Your shining light
Will guide my way
Deep inside me
You'll always stay

I'm not alone
We'll never part
For you live here
Within my heart

Luscious ambrosia,
Goblet of wine
Breathless the music
Comfort of mine

Your sweet touch
Remembered ease
Tents of white linen
Blowing in the breeze

Lap of the water
Upon the shore
Call of the heart
We listened for

Gently I waken
Sunshine above
Lost in the moment
Held by your love

Gentle come the whispers of
Our hearts neverending love
Raining down from high above

In that endless waterfall
Precious words to me you call
Quiet, Listening to them all

Angel whispers to me send
Sweet my love, enduring friend
With your memories time I spend

Writing in the morning dew
Quilt my loving thoughts of you
Never will me bid adieu

For you promised love locked in
Heart and soul were joined therein
And the magic did begin

Even though you did depart
Angel now you hold my heart
And you have right from the start

Gentle are your whispers of
Words of harmony and love
Sent to me from high above

Your soul and body I do adore
Faith in your spirit evermore
Knowing inside this sweetest dance
Love of my heart, a true romance

Now you will dance in heaven's mist
Sending my soul sweet your angel kiss
Grace in my day in the morning dew
thoughts that breath gently the words of you

We walk together, never apart
For you live on within my heart
Spark of your spirit, love gentle light
Guardian in the darkest night

With you to guide me I feel no fear
Your wings to hold me are standing near
Heaven's sweet harmony, angel sweet grace
Forever abide in your embrace

Black Ribbons in the Night

Black are the ribbons in her hair
Sad is the face tender and fair
Bidding adieu to her truest love
Meet him once more at last above
But she know now that walk she must
Holding on gently with love and trust

She misses all of his tender ways
But memories strengthen her through the day
Knowing they never walk apart
Dancing so gently heart to heart
Follow his heart, that shining light
Black Ribbons flow on a moonlit night
