Blessed Thanksgiving
Before you one thing only I was thankful for
Light from your eyes brought me so much more
Evenings and mornings ever angel blessed
Simple pleasures bring such peacefulness
Silently watching the morning dew
Early the light. see the morning new
Dusted in moments that are full of you
Thankful the blessings that I now can see
Here angel whispers will walk with me
After the tears greet the morning star
Nearby, in my heart, I know you are
Kids, laughter, food are the blessings of
Sweetest of souls watching from above
Gazing upon us, gentle love to share
Inspire us to reach out and care
Voice of your soul eases me to sleep
In darkest hour, one true light to keep
Never alone for you walk beside
Glow in my heart, deep, where you abide

No More Apart
The path may seem like it is winding
And the sky has gathered dark
Follow now a light and truly
Guided by your inner spark
Future moments, clouded, misty
At times the way can be unclear
Yet I know the sureness of my step
Each moment I hold you near
As I sit nearby the window
Look through curtains, hues of rose
Summer night you lost a battle
Your gentle spirit then arose
Miss the laughter and the sunshine
you would bring to each new day
Inside me your thoughts and feelings
Heart and soul forever stay
When the day pauses to night time
Or when I am first awake
Feel your presence comfort, guide me
On the path that I must take
With your angel breath bestir me
Filled full with your loving heart
And your steel of strength inside me
Till we are no more apart

The word was yes
There was a word
That bound our hearts
Forever so they
Never part
There was a word
That touched our souls
Two separate halves
Became one whole
There was a word
From yesterday
That put you
Inside me to stay
There was a word
And I remember
Whispered in a
Sweet December
There was a word
I whisper yet
With each breath
I can't forget
There was a word
Now heard above
For this is
Everlasting love

One heart
One heart
Two hands
One man
Who understands
We once
Lived as two
There was me
And there was you
Then touched
each soul
And made
each whole
One heart
Four hands
we both
Understand
Two hearts
Became one
For our love
is never done
Time can
Set us free
In a moment
Eternity
One heart
Two hands
I am left
To understand
Two souls
Once apart
Live always
In my heart
Love walks
Through the day
Inside me
You'll always stay

Peaceful Juxtapose
Side by side, close together
Walking through the fragrant heather
Speech and silence intertwined
Felt such peace, our blur of time
With an altitude so heady
Nature ever at the ready
Healing now a soul so broke
That it's whisper hardly spoke
Elder bush and river reed
In this period of need
Give a spirit gentle repose
Through a heart the will not close
Chance a life walking with love
Angels smile from up above
For the most amazing grace
Found within your hearts embrace
A juxtapose of love and lost
For any who have felt the cost
Need that peaceful place to go
Where the healing waters flow

Memories of snow
Thoughts of snow, memories of peace
Something glitters in the east
Is it the star of the season
Or a storm, a mess unreasoned
I heard some say it would be white
The temperature would drop tonight
In my side yard, grass is bare
Coming snowflakes are not there
People chuckle about the cold
Telling tales, winters of olde
Of a slide in fresh new snow
Or a fire's warmth and glow
Myself, I find a walk with wonder
Gazing at the sky I'm under
I am wealthier by far
Than driving in some fancy car
My memories, snow from above
Season filled with a new found love
Amazing grace deep in my heart
Holding you close, though far apart
