Vulnerable Dawn

Vulnerable, a fragile world
Hope everlasting at last unfurled
Walking in grace and harmony
Gift of your love rains down on me

Each step I walk close to your heart
Shows me we never are apart
In breaking dawn and morning mist
Feel the delight of an angel kiss

Finding joy in your forever smile
Tender we touched for a little while
Until the pain one day to great
Confused your mind, you did not wait

And yet I found although you're gone
You spirit shines in each new dawn
Light of my world, grace of my day
Within my heart you will always stay

A sky of blue
Clouds of white
Beneath the tree
The dappled light

Fall colors deep
Upon the ground
And winters chill
It does surround

Memories
Of hand in hand
Our love, it met
Across the land

It warmed our souls
It warmed our hearts
No matter we
Were far apart

It reached inside
It brought a smile
A joyous gift
A little while

I walk alone
You aren't beside
And not alone
You are inside

You see now sweet
The strength of love
My guardian angel
High above

You hold me on
An autumn night
Surrounding me
With wings of white

Angel Wings

I smile at the thought of you
Those little things you used to do
And those things you used to say
That help me brighten up the day

And when I find it hard to cope
The thought of you brings rays of hope
For I know in the sweet hereafter
That angel wings quiver with laughter

You find the days are now painfree
And with clear eyes now you can see
Though you miss the ones you love
You watch and guide now from above

You comfort us in our heartache
For you know how it feels to break
In angel wings you hold us tight
And guide us back into the light

Beacon

You are a beacon in the night
With your help I see the light
And learn to walk in ways of grace
Held in the love of your embrace

Your spirit with me will abide
Hand in hand and side by side
Walk with your soul in harmony
Forever you are here with me

With your light I walk with love
With your strength from up above
With the music of your heart
You guide my steps while we're apart

Each evening now I contemplate
The blessing I received from fate
To hold you for a little while
And on your face to see a smile

I wish that time could just remain
So I would not live with this pain
But each day as I face the dawn
Your love a beacon, always on.

If I cry

You said that if I ever cried
You wanted to be by my side
The tears they fall now every day
Because you had no strength to stay

Each moment that I shed a tear
I reach for you and hold you near
Your loving comfort still remains
To help me cope with all the pains

Your voice to greet the morning light
Your thoughts and feelings in the night
Brought me such special awesome love
And still it come though you're above

So when days can feel so long
And I know that I must be strong
I hold your love close to my heart
No matter we are far apart

Each moment that I spent with you
Will help me now to make it through
I can not stop the tears I cry
Your angel heart will help them dry
