![]() ShelteredSheltered in the angel arborA tender pool of tears Wept because I'm missing you As months stretch into years The ripples of the newly shed Distort sometimes the view But When the calm and peace return Again I gaze on you With your eyes reflecting back My soul soon find it's way To hold fast to your harmony And dance with you each day So deep within your angel arbor Sweet paths again we walk Touching deep the inner soul Sweet memories will talk I steal once more a breath of rest and once more through my day Your angel presence lights my path And guides me on my way Margot Hill 20Oct02 Return to Top of Page
![]() Fragile ButterflyYou thought I didn't noticeYou thought I didn't know Your thoughts were on your leaving You picked your time to go I knew your body's struggle You did not feel your best When your mind had joined the fray You wanted to find rest I knew that you were leaving I wanted you to stay To hold you close inside my arms And love for one more day The angel of my lifetime A safe home for my heart Though your body's gone to rest We never walk apart Side by side we face the world Hand in hand we fly Your angel wings holding me close A fragile butterfly Margot Hill 21Oct02 Return to Top of Page
![]() Until I hold youTender the heart that adores youFragile as butterfly wings Each moment that we were together My quiet heart learned how to sing I sing now a song full of longing I sing now a song full of love My soul's home deep inside of your heart Sings now with the angels above For when you departed the planet A part of your spirit remains And part of my heart left with you Until I can hold you again So walk with me now in the sunshine Hold me in the dawn's early dew Sing to me sweetly, pure angel voice Each breath I am taking with you Margot Hill 21Oct02 Return to Top of Page
![]() Leave it openPlease leave the vatic book openHide not from the word from above The journey will walk you through madness But you are surrounded with love Your heart is the fertile ground now Where seeds from a teacher may grow Rise up from the narrow sand ribbon For a lofty perch new wings will show Some think you a seer or madman Dim are their words in your heart Walking with truth holds closely our souls Though ephemeral bodies apart So please leave the vatic book open Lean your ears to the angel choirs song Truth and love are the keys to open the door Grace and harmony guide us along Margot Hill 26oct02 Return to Top of Page
![]() Leave it open, IIPlease leave the vatic book openNarrow path full of flowers that grow The journey of life, a walk your soul A seer because of love's glow Walk gently in the teachers footsteps Dance lightly in love's harmony Find grace in the word lightly spoken My angel is walking with me Lofty the ground that you gaze on Distance does not dim your heart Narrow the path but beautiful still I walk on while we are apart So please leave the vatic book open My heart always drinks deep the word Of sweet angel whispers alive as the wind And with inner ears can be heard Margot Hill 26Oct02 Return to Top of Page
![]() A Cross Stitch AnacrosticAll of the colors and their blended hueConnected x's between me and you Rivelets of tears may dampen my sighes Or hope brings a smile when I think of your eyes Stitches connect the love in our hearts Span across distance that keeps us apart Sewing my soul with every thread Tender and fragile for part of me's dead In every moment I spend with pur love Thankful the time before you went above Cherish the moments of pure angel kiss Heaven now cherish the man that I miss A poem of cross stitch and love's tender grace Needling x's in the fabric of space An angel whispers, angel wings guide Close by my heart you will always abide Roamed this land over I know deep and true Only found home when I was with you So my home I care for and fill it with love Till my time is over and I'm called above I know that my heart is yours till the end Cherished and honored my souls truest friend Margot Hill 27Oct02 Return to Top of Page
