This is the path

White, stone cobbles lead the way
As I walk this path each day
The branches join over my head
And flowers line the way in beds

The slightest curve you can just see
That leads you too eternity
A brilliant light to lead you there
Sometimes you walk as if on air

The blooms a heady perfume bring
And quietly the angels sing
In quiet contemplation you
can listen to their music too

Sometimes we focus on our feet
And do not look at friends we meet
Then the path can feel quite dark
But looking up will show a spark

The spark burn through surrounding mist
And we soon feel an angel kiss
As if to say I still remain
And I walk with you through your pain

Remember I am always here
Whenever you just need me near
And I will listen as you talk
Along the path we all must walk

Reach out with love and touch a heart
No need for you to walk apart
For people need a human hand
To comfort them and help them stand

With a hand that you can trust
You can do all that you must
Hand in hand with wings you fly
Amongst the flowers you pass by

I find my rest

I find my rest each day in you
For that is where the way is true
I feel within my heart it's right
Each time I walk within your light

I can not always see the way
Things go together each new day
But I put my trust in your love
That shines on me now from above

You walk with me with angel grace
And hold me tight in your embrace
With my head upon your chest
Each day with you I will find rest

Angel of mine
Tear in my eyes
Please hold me close
Breathe in my sighs

Knowing our time
Now it is past
Your spirit stays
here till my last

surround my world
With all you love
Guiding my steps
Now from above

Those steps will walk
In harmony
Angel of mine
Walk close to me

I found today
Those morning tears
The ones that fall
Cause you're not near

So stand beside me
In the morning dew
And hold my heart
Like you always do

In angel arms
Hold me so tight
Guide me today
With angel light

Rain angel kisses
Soft on my face
Hold me forever
In your embrace

Embrace, light and airy
It will be no more
Until we walk on
That distant shore

Garden Hollow

In the hollow of my heart
Although we are far apart
In the cool evening glow
Flowers of your love still grow

They are the ever blooming kind
Growing though trellis of time
Rooted in soil of love
Angel rain from high above

Sweet memories their perfume brings
And hope ever present springs
That we will walk here hand in hand
Each breath together helps me stand

With each step in harmony
I can feel you here with me
Though torn apart by time and space
Ever still in your embrace

As your light comes shining through
I will reach once more for you
Held in your heart forever more
Till we meet on that distant shore

Angel in the clouds

Angel in the clouds you are
Love you are my shining star
Guide my steps in each new day
As I learn to find my way

In this world that they call grief
Your time on this earth was too brief
And I rely still on your love
Though it comes from up above

Some moments I may wish to rest
Laying my head on your chest
Your inner core restores my steel
With the strength of love we feel

No one else may understand
How we can walk still hand in hand
Our two souls death can not part
You live forever in my heart

And each day that I face anew
I find the strength because of you
Cherishing what makes me strong
Your thoughts and love walking along

So my angel in the mist
Bless me with your angel kiss
Angel breath upon my face
forever held in your embrace
