Walking

Walking on this path together
Walk beside and hold my hand
Drawing on each others courage
Each new day find strength to stand

Walking through a field of flowers
Hear the babbling water flow
Butterflies dancing in the distance
Surrounding now ethereal glow

Walking in step, close beside us
Folded deep with in their soul
Sharing with us strength and courage
Love and joy to make us whole

Walking on this path together
Knowing we are not alone
With our love and with our friends
Find the courage to go on

Tapestry

Imagine a tapestry
Woven of time
I can not see
The reason or rhyme

Threads in this tapestry
Start golden white
Sparkling and glowing
And dancing with light

These threads are special
They're chosen with care
Each single thread
Has a blessing to share

These threads can change
Their color and hue
Depending on people
And things they do

Some end far too early
The weavers they blend
Remaining threads
When one breaks or bends

These threads weave into
Fate's eternal stories
The patterns of souls
And their lives tapestries

Laughter

Today I laughed
So hard I cried
And I could feel you
Deep inside

Feel your laughter
Blend with mine
Neither one
Is left behind

Together through
Eternity
laughing heart
walks with me

Reactions of
a hectic day
Knowing we will
Find a way

To do the things
that must be done
Do my job
And raise my son

Hold my hand
So I can soar
Until I reach
A distant shore

Until that time
I walk with love
And laughter joins me
From above

Irony of life

The irony of life is great
Twisted turns the hands of fate

The things that only you could see
Enter my life as gifts to me

Are you watching from above
Or dancing through my life with love

No one else could know the thought
And blessing in life can't be bought

In the pain that held you down
You felt rooted to the ground

Now you are my angel grace
And I can feel you love's embrace

In each new soul that finds my day
And harmony that guides my way

And laughter that lives in my soul
Since you found me and made it whole

Even though you did depart
Your joy lives deep within my heart

Surrounding me with angel care
Your love and laughter gifts to share

Feeling your soul

Feeling your soul deep inside me
Though you are gone from my arms
Walking in step with your laughter and love
Even as I miss your charms

Finding myself in your sunshine
Facing with love each new day
Knowing your love is what helps me
Holding the darkness at bay

Holding my hand every moment
Folding in me in angel wings
You are the music that helps me to dance
And causes my sore heart to sing

For this heart will never be broken
Held in your loving embrace
Laughter and tears, sunshine and rain
Wash gently over my face

Though your departure is final
Your time here on earth is now through
My heart and soul, my days and times
Full ever with more thoughts of you

Harvest moon

In the autumn harvest moon
bonfires burn and lovers spoon
Chills of autumn breezes blow
And their inner passions glow

In the midst of cool September
Think of you and sweet remember
Wishing that hands intertwined
Wasn't only in my mind

In the memories of love
For you watch from high above
And I will wait for inner sweet
Beyond this life when next we meet

Until then Ithat moon for harvest
Brings an ache deep in my chest
As I miss your sunshine laughter
Echoing through the sweet hereafter

Angel arms I know surround me
Underneath the autumn tree
And they bring my soul to safety
Walking through eternity
