Good Morning my love

Good morning my love
My heart reaches for you
But you are not there
What should I do

I don't know that answer
I do what I can
Though you are not there
I can still hold your hand

Hold you hand, get a hug
Hear you voice, feel your kiss
My memories are strong
Of these things that I miss

We shared them often
When we were apart
Now those memories
Reside in my heart

My heart and my soul
Have the strength to go on
Even though they remember
You are forever gone

For my memories
My love will sustain
Until at the end
I will see you again

This morning when I rise,
Look at your laughing eyes

The love it fills my heart
Tho we are far apart

I remember your face
And your voice, such sweet sound
Sometimes it's so clear
It's as if you're around

But you are not here
And return, you can not
From the place that you went
The loneliest spot

you presence and love
Come down from above

To strengthen my soul,
So it can be whole

No other way

Tears are running down my face
From this pain inside me
Losing you to suicide
Is not thee way it should be

I struggle with the emptiness
Because you are not there
And wonder sometimes while I cry
How much a heart can bear

Your presence I take with me always
I carry it deep in my soul
and your love i will hold in my heart
It is what makes my heart whole

Your memories and thoughts all surround me
I remember you all thru the day
And I would not wish for a moment less
For me there is no other way

Tears

Tears
Just welling up today
Sometimes they fall
Sometimes go away

The pain inside
it swells so great
A gaping wound
A leaden weight

Peace and rest
you finally know
After you have
struggled so

Where you've gone
I can not be
There is no peace
Or rest for for me

But only this
Enduring pain
I'll never be
The same again

The new me
is a grieving one
Left alone to
raise my son

Tomorrow, I'll feel
your love once more
And like the seas
Ebb from the shore

The pain it will
recede a while
When I remember
Your precious smile

and you presence
once again draws near
And helps to dry
Away my tears

When I look at your picture this morning
And I think of your voice, oh so clear
My eyes well with tears from missing you
I just want you with me, my dear

But you're gone and you are not returning
For you're watching from heaven above
So I think of our time and the dreams that we shared
And hold fast to our eternal love

For your love dear is all that sustains me
As I struggle with heartache and tears
And your presence I feel watching over me
Let's me know you will always be near

So I look at your picture each morning
Even though it may cause me to cry
For the memories of, and your presence and love
Help me gether my strength to try

The rain of your love in my heart
Helps strengthen me while we are apart
A soft gentle rain
In the garden of pain
Makes flowers of memories start

The storms of your life now are past
Your spirit and memories will last
They live deep inside
They've no need to hide
For they fill up the wound that is vast

I know that your peace you have found
And those that you love you surround
With your light and your love
And God's help from above
Our memories of you abound

The rain of your love in my soul
Reminds me that we are one whole
Even though you are gone
Our love it lives on
Pretty flowers on a green grassy knoll

A question runs
Inside my head
How do I find joy
After you're dead?

Some kinds of joy
I never will

Oft times the joy
is bittersweet
where celebration
and longing meet

But each new day
That comes to pass
Has shown me that
Our love still lasts

So any new or
pleasant time
I can commit
To you in rhyme

I share them with

For I am finding

Sweet memories

Sweet, precious memories of you
I find that when each day is thru
I cherish all the time we had
Sometimes happy, sometimes sad
But I think the moments are too few

The moments in the early morn
When each new day is born
Time now for reflection
I renew our connection
So I am not left so forlorn

Each bittersweet time thru the day
My thoughts to you often stray
I hold you with love
Sent from up above
For me there is no other way

I can not leave our love behind
Each day you are oft in my mind
With love and with laughter
And now the hereafter
Our souls that are now combined

so each day as you watch over me
the love in my eyes you will see
Shine a light in my heart
Tho we now are apart
For I know that together we'll be

The tease in your voice
The sparkle in your eye

Whenever you'd cry

Remind me each day
How much I miss you
How we would talk
When each day was through

To touch you in the morning
And hear your voice so clear
It made me feel like you were close
whether you were far or near

Your soul is watching over me
I need you so each day
Together we will make it work

In my morning reflection
I feel my heart ache
with it's pain and sorrow
It's so close to a break

But as I reflect upon the times
that we have shared together
The almost breaking of my heart
Feel like it's getting better

A tender ache, it does remains
because you've gone away
But my heart is still the one
I shared with you each day

So my love as I go on
And live my life alone
In some ways, in my heart
you're never really gone

The missing and the longing too
Live within my heart
But with your love and tenderness
It does not break apart

For I can still feel your love
Though you I can not see
And half my soul in still the one
That you shared with me

Will I get over losing you
I think that you now know
The answer to this question
Is a loud resounding NO

The way you chose to leave,
It's hard to comprehend
But even harder is the fact
Our time is at an end

I know that when
you made your choice
You couldn't listen
To my voice

Saying I love you
So many ways
Because you shine on
Each new day

I love you
is still in my heart
And I find
as each day starts

My love for you
grows more and more
Just as it
always did before

I find that now
My words have wings
And to you
I find they sing

About our love
And all that we shared
And even when
I held you scared

How I'm coping
Now you've gone
And I have to
Still go on

Your soul is what
Sustains me now
With love inside

In the quiet of the evening
When all my chores are thru
I settle down in my chair
And my thoughts rush to you

I see your sweet, handsome face
I hear your voice so clear
I wish with all my heart and soul
That you were standing near

The love I feel for you inside
Has grown each passing day
It's even stronger than before
The day you went away

Now I'm certain love will last
For all eternity

I love you, Stephen
Good Morning is how start my day
Whether I'm crying or smiling
There is no other way

I look at your picture
Reflect on our love
Knowing for certain
It was sent from above

The blessing that caused us to meet
That day four years ago
Made my world a better place
I wanted you to know

The hurt inside made it so hard
For you to really see
The gift your presence really was
To kids, your friends and me

i take you with me thru my day
I think I always will
For I find as each day goes by
That I love you still

So saying I love you, good morning
Are my words to share with you
To say you start my day off right
