Gentle Music

I have a song I listen to
It makes me think of you
Finding now a place of peace
And things that you would do

Playing on the water side
Moments of harmony
Thinking of you being there
Brings such peace to me

Some day I will join you
But until that day
I will hold you close to me
For in my heart you'll stay

I can not explain just how
I know you are by my side
It's just something that I know
>From way down deep inside

"Can you imagine a place in the universe
more fit for princes and kings"
Just makes me think of you sitting out there
And all kinds of relaxing things

So as I find solace in soft gentle music
And words about times free of tears
I gather my strength, your spirit inside me
To do what I must through the years

Finding Gifts

Trying to find gifts
In the midst of the mist
Reaching for your hand
Through the haze

Some might say you're gone
Let you go, but I know
Beside you I will stand
All my days

Together souls will walk
side by side, deep inside
We still share our love
In many ways

You who grace my life
Angel now, showing how,
I can make it through
My life's maze

I can see you there
Pain no more, on the shore
Finding joy and peace
In summers laze

Held close in your arms
I am sure, I'm secure
That's where I belong
And I'll stay

Till my time is done
Find my peace and release
Your love still shine on me
Through sun rays

Walking forever

I will walk with you forever
For I cannot walk alone
Knowing always you are with me
In the morning light at dawn

In the sweet smell of the lilac
Or the beauty of a rose
They remind me every moment
Just how strong that true love grows

For it's love that will sustain me
In the pain that comes with grief
And love with walk beside me
To find harmony, relief

I will walk beside you always
We're together, hand in hand
The strength you struggled so to find
Is helping me to stand

With your memories inside me
And your heart so close to mine
I'll have faith in every valley
That each path will work out fine

For with me you are walking
And with you I know no fear
For you guide me and protect
Everything that I hold dear

I had a dream
I dreamt last night
Of dreams come true,
and marriage nights

As I awoke
beheld the dream
I found your love
Behind each scene

Every thought brought forth
Sweet memories of you
Of how you looked and how you felt
And things that you would do

And I wish that you were close
So I could hold you near
Remind myself of all the ways
I hold your love so dear

Gone you are, I know it's true
Each day I miss so much
Your laugh, your smile, your tender tease
your voice, your loving touch

In the early morning dawn

Feel you standing right beside
Feel your heart beating inside

Gentle rock me with your love
Though your spirit's gone above

Hold me close in angel care
Angel breath upon my hair

With clear eyes you watch me sweet
Touch my soul till next we meet

Your touch is my one desire
Soul to soul eternal fire

So it is till life is past
And we join again at last

Hand in hand we'll walk again
Free at last from earthly pain

Walking in peace, love restores
When we meet on distant shores
