Hold me again

The thin wall that now stands between us
Is not match for the love in our hearts
For if we believe in each other
Our souls once joined will not part

You carried the world on your shoulders
You tried hard to give all your best
But sometimes when pain fogs our thinking
We can choose the wrong way to find rest

Our love strong and true you believed in
And that love I will never forsake
For as long as your memories live in my heart
I know that my spirit wont break

I will walk with you always beside me
Each blessing and teardrop that we shared
The gift that you are fills my soul every day
And reminds me just how much you cared

For you did not leave this world not loving
Just unsure and afraid from the pain
So I know when I reach life's horizon
I'll be held in your arms once again

Your daughter

Your daughter missed her dad today
I wish there'd been another way
I wish you could have seen the light
And knew that it would be all right

I know that as the presents gather
There is one thing that she would rather
Have more than all the gifts piled high
To see the sparkle in your eye

And in your voice the joyful sound
That meant your princess was around
And on your face the biggest smile
To be with her a little while

And I can never ease her pain
She won't see you on earth again
She'll have to put her faith in love
That now comes down from up above

I hope some day she'll understand
That hurting her was not your plan
You wanted for her all the best
But hurting so you needed rest

God walks with you now in grace
Perhaps so there with be a place
And time that harmony's restored
To the daughter you adore

Where?

Where are the days that started with a grin
Because you helped those days begin

Where os the feeling that I float on air
Just because I know you're there

Where is the hand that reached for mine
And reassured me things are fine

Where is the joy bubbling deep
Of everything that was ours to keep

Here in my heart, unfailing love
Tied to your heart now up above

When I need strength you are the one
That my heart can always rely upon

My guardian angel you became
My days will never be the same

But with your guiding, shining light
Somehow I'll make it through all right

Together we walk hand in hand
Whispering hearts they understand

That even death cannot divide
Two heart that beat still side by side

Stephen put you hand in mine
Then I know that I'll be fine
Space and time still stand between
But we rely on things unseen

Strength and soul forever live
In the love and trust we give
And on you I will rely
For love and trust will never die

An angel now to guide my days
You are with me many ways
You help me through the darkest hours
With the love forever ours

I know that I can walk along
With you beside me I'll be strong
Although others see only one
I know I never walk alone

Carried forever in my heart
The man from whom I'll never part
Walking with love till time has past
And I am with you at last

Deep inside an inner pocket
Near my heart within a locket
Feel you with me when I stand
Walk forever hand in hand

Though your body's dead and gone
Heart and soul with me live on
Love will guide me on my way
Help me find the strength each day

Ours is a forever love
A miracle from up above
A gift from God, moments of bliss
A presence I will ever miss

Sometimes I dream of days before
You left here for a distant shore
And reach for you deep in the night
And ask you for a guiding light

Because with me an angel lives
Through the mists of space he gives
The strength for each and every breath
And love of an immeasurable depth

Kiss my tears

In my eyes are the tears
I feel your lips kiss them away
Absent from this earthly plane
Within my heart you'll ever stay

Angels kisses comfort me
Dry the tears upon my face
Strengthen me with Angel steel
As I'm held in your embrace

As a man you walked a path
Beset by your fear and doubt
In a fog amd haze of pain
Could not see you own way out

As a guiding angel now
With God's love and strength inside
You find ways to hold me close
Hold my hand, walk side by side

Our hearts they beat as one
One on earth and one above
And death it can not sever
Bonds between us made of love
