IP Engineering 'Jane' class locomotive
This locomotive is an IP engineering 'Jane' Mk. 2 class locomotive (painted maroon) fired by methylated spirits. This locomotive has the capacity to run for 1/2 an hour without the boiler being refilled, but requires stopping every 5 mins for meths. At present this is the only steam loco available to run on the GHLR as No.3 has too heavy an axle load to run over the whole of the line. Bought second-hand at PPS Stem Models it has never done a bad job yet, lapping a 'Lady Anne' locomotive 3 times hauling twice the weight at Exeter in 2001.
