| Delta Chi Delta was formed in December 2003 for all crossdressers in South Florida. We not only provide support to each other, but some members also try to educate the community about crossdressing in the hopes of gaining greater acceptance. By the way, girls, our name actually means something: Delta stands for change and the "C" and "D" in the words Chi and Delta represent cross and dressing. Our organization is dedicated to not only helping crossdressers grow and change to accept themselves, but also to try and change and/or at least educate how people in society view the crossdressing community. We currently have two officers: President: Dawn Rene Frey Treasurer/Secretary: Donna Whittman All potential new members must be interviewed by two current club members. We do this to ensure only crossdressers and their spouses or girlfriends join. Dues and meeting fees are not expensive, girls. The club meets in Boynton Beach, but we also have activities scheduled in Broward County, too. Ten of us recently had a wonderful holiday get-together at Chardees Restaurant in Wilton Manors, Fla., where we were joined by two lovely genetic women: a former model who will be our featured speaker in January (on feminine comportment) and a transgender therapist.
