|"I ought to pray before seeing any one . . . . It is far better to begin with God--to see His face first, to get my soul near him before it is near another."

|You will never find Jesus so precious as when the world is onevast howling wilderness. Then he is like a rose blooming in the
midst of the desolation, a rock rising above the storm.

|"but we will give ourselves continually to prayer and to the ministry of the word."
- Acts 6:4
Hi ! I was born and raised in Gallup New Mexico! I have one brother Andrew(Deceased) and a sister Amy. I am the middle child. On December 16th 1981 I invited Jesus in to my life. I graduated from High School in 1985 and went to college for 2 years. I then married my best friend James in 1987.
We had a lovely Lilac bush in our front yard when I was growing up. I always looked towards spring with anticipation of the wonderful fragrance that would waft from the Lilacs' glorious blossom. One spring however the bush did not produce blossoms...I remember how disappointed I was. We had a dry winter and there just was not enough water to nourish the bush, hence no blossoms.
This reminds me about my relationship with Jesus. I want to blossom for Him gloriously ,but I do not, I want others too smell His wafting fragrance from me.... However, they do not. They cannot because I have not been drinking His Living water. I have not nourished my heart.
I urge you my friends to drink of His living water. Read the Word (bible). Talk to him everyday (Pray). Abide in Him. Then we can be Glorious blossoms that point others towards Him.
|Prayer is the only element in which the Holy Spirit can live and work. Prayer is the golden chain which happily enslaves Him to His happy work in us.
