  Other Features: The Darkhawk body is not alive and, therefore has no need for oxygen to breath or food for sustenance. A speech synthesizer is included in the helmet that produces a hollow and inhuman voice. The body also bleeds a bright green vital fluid or coolant when damaged, the body is armored but cannot withstand damage from small to meduim calibur shells, the helmet is armored much heavier and can withstand such attacks.

  Special Skills and Abilities: By switching from the Darkhawk body to his human body, almost all damage incurred upon the android can be repaired almost instantly, and will be completely ready for use the next time it is called upon.

  Superhuman physical powers: The amulet contained in Darkhawk's chest is the source of his powers. The amulet bestowes various powers upon its weilder, gliding and flight; a pair a metal wings with serrated edges that can be used as weapons emerge from Darkhawk's back, a cable claw; three sharp curved metal claws emerge from his right wrist, the claws are attached to a strong cable made of alien material and can be reeled in and stored back in the housing on the wrist, the claws can also be used as a bladed weapon or fired like a grappling-hook, or can wrap around objects or individuals, the amulet can also fire beams of force either as a offensive weapon or a defensive one by generating a stationary force field in front of him. Darkhawk's helmet also grantes him telescopic and night-vision.

  Superhuman mental powers: Powell can transfer his essence into the andriod Darkhawk body.

  Special limitations: Darkhawk's android body can only absorb a limited amount of damage before requiring to be repaired, causing Powell to revert to his human form.

  Source of superhuman powers: At one point Powell's mother was receiving offers of , and refusing bribes from a mobster, Philippe Bazin, whos case she was currently prosecuting. During this time, one of Powell's brothers was kidnapped by some of Bazin's men. Powell followed them only to a amusement park to discover his father taking bribes from Bazin's men. When the mobsters discovered him, Powell began to throw objects at them to slow their pursuit. Picking up a strange amulet Powell was transformed into the armored Darkhawk. As Darkhawk, Powell defeated the goons easily. Realizing that he had the chance to atone for his father's sins, Powell began to fight crime as Darkhawk.
