The rest of his skin is equally sensitive as well, enabling him to feel minute changes in the temperature and pressure of the atmosphere around him. His sense of smell is so acute that he can distinguish between identical twins at 20 feet by minute differences in smell. He can detect odors at an atmosphereic concentration of 30 parts per million. His sense of concentration is so acute that he can focus on the smell of a single person and follow it through a crowd at a distance of 30 feet. Daredevil's hearing is so acute that he can detect the acoustic pressure change of 1 deciBel at a pressure level of 7 deciBels ( where as the lowest threshold for the average human is 20 deciBels). This enables him to detect a persons heartbeat at a distance of 20 feet. Daredeviil can also tell if someone is lying by listening to the changes in their heartbeat, and can identify people by the specific patterns of their heartbeats. His sense of taste is so acute that he can detect the number of grains on a pretzel. His ability to remeber taste enables him to identify every ingredient of any food or drink he has tasted, as long as there is at least 20 milligrams of that substance present.   Superhuman physical powers: None   Superhuman mental powers: Daredevil can sense the proximity and arrangement of objects about himself. Daredevil developed this ability as a result to the mutagenic effects of his exposure to the same radiation the heightened his senses. Enabling him to detect possible dangers to himself, the sense has been termed "radar sense", since by theory, it functions comparably to radar.   Special Limitations: Daredevil, if taken by surprise could suffer more distress from a painfully oud sound than a ordinary person. Also he is vulnerable to stress, disease and injury as a normal person.   Weapons: Daredevil carries a single weapon known as his Billy Club. As Matt Murdock he carries it disguised as a blind man's cane. The cane seperates into 2 parts, the section wothout the curved hook at the end contains a metal shaft and can be used as a metal fighting baton. In the past he has used the curved end as a grappling hook, which contained a long cable. However, he no longer includes cable or the necessary inner mechanisims for using the section as a grappling hook within this section of the cane.   Source of Abilities: Exposure to radioactive waste material which a truck was carrying fell off and exposed him to its radiation as he was saving a man from being hit by the truck, this also caused him permanent blindness.
