I believe my family is from German descent, they came to south africa as pioneers. My father came from a family of 14 children. There are many twins born in our family. My father was a twin, I am a twin and I believe an aunt has twins, and one of them als have twins. As my parents were divorced, I am not too fimilliar with the rest of the family. I am researching the Abichts in doing so I have run across a Rebecca Abicht who married a Wagner I do not know his given name. She was born in Washington County Marietta, Ohio in 1845. Her parents came from Prussia in 1841 with 3 young sons. My Great G andfather was born the following year in Marietta in 1861 he joined the volinteer Union Army and fought in the Civil War. Rebecca is his only sister I can not find what happened to her the search has been going on now for about 11 years. She shows up in the 1880 Ohio census as Rebecca Abicht living at home but then in 1883 her father dies and in his probated will she is listed as Rebecca Wagner. This has been the only record I have found. No listing of marriages of Washington County lists her and no Oh o census lists her after the 1880 year. At least I haven't found one. I am now trying ajoining states in hope of locating her. Any information from anyone is greatly appreciated.

G.Grandfather is Donald Cameron Wagner apparently born Oct, 25, 1879 and married a Sarah Esther Shawgo. His parents were John Wagner and Mary??? Any information possibly linked to these people would help. They apparenty lived in Donation Hills PA. I don't know where this is in PA. Can you help?

I enjoyed your web site very much and I am grateful for the opportunity to list the Wagner branch I am searching for. I am looking for the family of William (Bill ) Wagner and Bessie Farris....Bill was killed in McAlester Okla. Bessie died of TB shortly afterwards. She is buried near Ringling Oklahoma. Interesting website. My grandfather, David Elexander Wagner, was adopted by a family named Wagner and picked up the surname from them.
