History:
Not much is known of the elusive Nightviper, only that she may be a Generation Two Decepticon, or at least uses the shell of a G2 Decepticon. Her spark was rescued from the Vehicon citadel by Jetstorm, Silverbolt and Triptych. After her reformatting, Nightviper allied herself with the Maximals, though she still remains much of a mystery to them. Nightviper is incredibly skilled in surveillance and infiltration tactics. As far as she's concerned, though, her past is of no consequence. The past is the past, nothing more. Nightviper is quite friendly and easy to make friends with, as long as she isn't ticked off. Though Jetstorm seems to know exactly who Nightviper is, he isn't talking . . . .
Nightviper changed forms from her technorganic cobra to a Starfighter after her original memories of being a Generation 2 Decepticon were triggered. At that point, Nightviper had also left the Maximals, and had begun working for Darkstrike. She and Jetstorm have pursued their relationship, and after leaving Darkstrike, rejoined with the Maximals. Still prefering to work alone or with Jetstorm, and occasionally Obsidian, Nightviper comes and goes as she pleases. Her only true loyalty is to her heritage, and her constant companion, Jetstorm.
With the death of Jolt (Backdraft) during the attack on Megatron, Nightviper and Jetstorm both begin to seriously doubt Rampage's leadership skills. Although she doesn't show it, Nightviper is actually quite distraught over her old friend's demise. She and Jetstorm both blame Rampage for all the deaths as a result of that fight. With Triptych still a Decepticon, Nightviper has taken it upon herself to watch Stratocaster, but just from afar.
