| There were actually two Fort Boises. The earlies was was built and operated by the Hudson's Bay Company near the mouth of the Boise and Snake Rivers, and present-day Parma, Oregon. It is believe the fort was destroyed by a flood. The second fort was built by the United States Army, and is located in Boise, Idaho. The fort in Boise is more commonly known as "Boise Barracks." | ||||||||||||||||||
